Production Possibilities Frontier

Definition

All combinations of two goods an economy can produce when using its resources fully and efficiently. Points outside it are unattainable; points inside reflect underuse.

Example

An economy can make 100 cars and 50 bikes, or 60 cars and 100 bikes, or any mix on the PPF curve.
