Demand

Definition

The quantity of a good buyers want to purchase at each price, ceteris paribus. The demand curve almost always slopes downward — lower price, more demanded.

Example

If coffee drops from $5 to $3, daily cups bought rises from 100 to 180. That's the demand schedule.
