Completeness Axiom

Definition

Assumes a consumer can rank any two bundles — prefer A, prefer B, or indifferent. One of the foundational axioms of rational choice.

Example

Given any two ice-cream flavors, the consumer has a preference (or is indifferent), not "undefined."
